Hi everyone,
hopes you are having a great Sunday I am blogging because I am about to start some painting but my brain is still going around on how I am going to approach it. My little dog Gizmo who is 15cm high is behind me barking as he always does just as I am about to start something. He is not barking because I am about to start something but because he cant get on the bed. Mind you he does have steps to get up on his own,  but Frankie my other dog is in his way, well he thinks she is in the way. mental, but love them to bits and now they have had their snack they are ready to have a snooze while I am here.
Let's get back to what I am blogging on today. today we are back to my art. This was a photo I took as an exercise for assessment . My theme was "Domestic Violence"

This one was a print I made when studying my Diploma in Visual Arts at Swinburne.

As you can see I love creating art, and photography immensely. The experience, the relaxation, and calmness I get when doing either of those mediums, l cannot get from anything else. 
With one exception, I enjoy being with my self, in my home. with my dogs.  The only equal, to my creating,  is Peace. 
Home is my Zen
Art is my Zen
Photography is my Zen
My Dogs and cat are my Zen

Robert Freeman ( photographer ) Robert Freeman (5 December 1936 – 6 or 7 November 2019) was an English  photographer,  and graphics designer, best known for his work with The  Beatles. Shooting some of the band's most recognizable images featured on several of their album covers.  From 1963 to 1966, he worked extensively with the group and did the photography and design on five of their album sleeves released.    Freeman designed the end credit sequences for their first two films and some of the graphics and photography displayed on the films' posters and promotional materials. Today's  artist Melinda Jane Bordelon  (March 6, 1949 – November 18, 1995) was an American  painter  and  illustrator  whose professional work adorns  magazine  covers, articles, and  advertisements —as well as  album covers ,  book covers , and  video game packaging —produced from the early 1970s through the 1990s. Reg Mombassa:   born in New Zealand in 1951, immigrated to Australia with his family in 1969. Attended the National Art School, Sydney 1969-70. Returned to art school in 1975 and obtained his diploma of painting in 1977. Formed rock band Mental as Anything in 1976 with four other art students. They became a popular band and have released 11 albums and 27 singles, with 20 entering the top forty. They have toured in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, England, Europe, the United States and Asia.His first painting exhibition was held at Watters Gallery, Sydney in 1975. He has had one man shows at Watter’s in 1986, 91, 93, 95, 98, 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2007. 

A survey show of Reg’s artwork spanning the last thirty years or so opened at the S.H. Ervin in January 2007. The show was opened by the actor Jack Thompson. He has worked closely with Mambo Graphics since 1986 designing t-shirts and posters.
