Todays female Australian Artist is Mirka Madeline Mora (born 18 March 1928) is a prominent French-born Australian visual artist who has contributed significantly to the development of contemporary art in Australia. Her mediums include painting, sculpture and mosaics. . Her artworks take my eye they are childlike but interesting especially the dolls she made. Please have a read there are many Australian Female artist that we dont know existed 
Mora was born in Paris, to a Lithuanian Jewish father, Leon Zelik, and a Romanian Jewish mother, Celia 'Suzanne' Gelbein.[1] She was arrested in 1942 during the Vel' d'Hiv Roundup (Rafle du Vel' d'Hiv). Her father, Leon, managed to arrange for her release from the concentration camp at Pithiviers (Loiret) before Mora and her mother, Celia, were scheduled to be deported to Auschwitz. The family evaded arrest and deportation from 1942 to 1945 by hiding in the forests of France.[2] After the war, Mora met a wartime resistance fighter Georges Mora in Paris at the age of 17. They married in 1947. In an interview in 2004, Mora said:
"I really wanted to make love to him, because I was very humiliated that he didn't because I was 17, and he said, "I know that you are not happy but we have to wait till we get married." "Ah! Married?" So I agreed to get married to lose my virginity. That's true."[3]

 Over time their cafes and restaurants, The Mirka Café, the Balzac and the Tolarno were renowned for the bohemian style of the time. In 1999, a retrospective of her work was shown at Heide Museum of Modern Art and her autobiography was published in October 2000.

Robert Freeman ( photographer ) Robert Freeman (5 December 1936 – 6 or 7 November 2019) was an English  photographer,  and graphics designer, best known for his work with The  Beatles. Shooting some of the band's most recognizable images featured on several of their album covers.  From 1963 to 1966, he worked extensively with the group and did the photography and design on five of their album sleeves released.    Freeman designed the end credit sequences for their first two films and some of the graphics and photography displayed on the films' posters and promotional materials. Today's  artist Melinda Jane Bordelon  (March 6, 1949 – November 18, 1995) was an American  painter  and  illustrator  whose professional work adorns  magazine  covers, articles, and  advertisements —as well as  album covers ,  book covers , and  video game packaging —produced from the early 1970s through the 1990s. Reg Mombassa:   born in New Zealand in 1951, immigrated to Australia with his family in 1969. Attended the National Art School, Sydney 1969-70. Returned to art school in 1975 and obtained his diploma of painting in 1977. Formed rock band Mental as Anything in 1976 with four other art students. They became a popular band and have released 11 albums and 27 singles, with 20 entering the top forty. They have toured in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, England, Europe, the United States and Asia.His first painting exhibition was held at Watters Gallery, Sydney in 1975. He has had one man shows at Watter’s in 1986, 91, 93, 95, 98, 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2007. 

A survey show of Reg’s artwork spanning the last thirty years or so opened at the S.H. Ervin in January 2007. The show was opened by the actor Jack Thompson. He has worked closely with Mambo Graphics since 1986 designing t-shirts and posters.
