Nampeyo (c. 1859-20 July 1942), Native American potter, was born in Tewa Village (Hano), First Mesa, Hopi reservation, Arizona, the daughter of Qos Vema, a Hopi farmer from Walpi, and Qot Kakao of the Corn Clan at Hano. She was named Tucumana (Snake Girl) by her paternal grandmother because her father was of the Snake Clan; however, her Tewa name, Num Payu ("Snake that does not bite"), was more commonly used because she lived at Hano. Little is kno wn of Nampeyo early life, but she spent considerable time at Walpi with her Hopi grandmother, a potter who encouraged Nampeyo to take up the art. Eva Grubinger  (born 1970 in  Salzburg, Austria ). I could not find much on Eva but apparently she has books out with her works and biography. When I did my Diploma in Visual Arts. I minored in Installation which is part of sculpture . Eva is an internationally recognised sculptor and  installation artist .  Between 1989–95 Grubinger studied at the  Hochschule der Künste Berlin . While Grubinger began her career with works that reflected and commented, in a pioneering manner, on the early development of the Internet, since the mid-1990s she has worked primarily in sculpture and installation. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eva_Grubinger.  My favourite is the fishing hook imagine what you would catch with one of these  monsters
