If it appeals to me I shre with you. unusual painting. uring the 1970s. His works incorporate materials such as  straw ,  ash ,  clay , lead, and  shellac . The poems of  Paul Celan  have played a role in developing Kiefer's themes of German history and the horror of  the Holocaust , as have the spiritual concepts of  Kabbalah . In his entire body of work, Kiefer argues with the past and addresses  taboo  and controversial issues from recent history. Themes from  Nazi rule  are particularly reflected in his work; for instance, the painting "Margarethe" (oil and straw on canvas) was inspired by  Paul Celan 's well-known poem " Todesfuge " (" Death Fugue "). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anselm_Kiefer Anselm Kiefer's monume

Last night I watched a movie the story was about the life of Frieda Kahlo played by (Salma Hayek)and her husband Diego Rivera played by (Alfred Molina).  Artist Frida Kahlo was born on July 6, 1907, in Coyocoán, Mexico City, Mexico. Considered one of Mexico's greatest artists, Frieda Kahlo began painting after she was severely injured in a bus accident. Kahlo later became politically active and married fellow communist artist Diego Rivera in 1929. If you want to understand this artist watch the movie Salma Hayek is one of my favorite actors and Salma plays this role very well. Salma portrays Frida in such a manner that you start think it is Frieda and why she started painting and why she painted from the heart. Initial release :  October 25, 2002 ( USA ) Director :  Julie Taymor Featured song :  Burn It Blue Box office :  56.3 million USD Awards :  Academy Award for Best Original Music Score ,  more https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1HP9zfkF2U http

Sorry have been out of action so have not blogged for a while. Today's artist is a French women who was born in 1973 in France. Hope you love her work as much as I do. "Painting on walls was a way to show that I was boycotting the conventional art world. At my beginnings, I had a rebel mind. I also find this more exciting to paint in the street because it is forbidden." — Miss Van   Miss Van, also known as Vanessa Alice Bensimon was born in 1973 in Toulouse, France. She started wall-painting at the age of 20, in 1993, in the streets of her hometown. She is now considered one of the best known painters of the graffiti scene, initiating the feminine street art movement. She traveled the world to exhibit her artwork though she spent most of her artistic life in Barcelona. Her creations display highly recognizable sultry women that she calls 'poupées' (dolls)  http://www.streetartbio.com/miss-van- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miss_Van
