Born November 27, 1960 was well known artists Mark Kostabi  to Estonian immigrants Kaljo and Rita Kostabi.  He was raised in  Whittier, California  and studied drawing and painting at California State University, Fullerton.  In 1982 he moved to New York and by 1984 he became a prominent figure of the  East Village  art scene,  winning the "Proliferation Prize" from the  East Village Eye  for being in more art exhibitions than any other New York artist. I simple love his work I find it vibrant, colourful and all the things I love about poppy sort of art. I think he is the best artist in his field of art. http://www.artinamericamagazine.com/news-features/news/mark-kostabi-con-artist-tribeca-film-fest/

When taking Shots  it is always important for me to play with the light available, Although not always feasible, this time I couldn't resist. We were at the Melbourne Zoo and that's my grandson in the photo. He was watching the seals in the pool, swimming.
