I pinched this photo from the net when l look at it, it is me and many other artist. l empathize with this gentleman as l know his frustration when you don't have a problem with the painting, the problem lies in what will l paint next. If you have out side influences this makes it worse because it then become annoyingly confusing. and almost intrusive in you thoughts and ideas. This is where l am at. l thought moving to the beach would be great but just as l moved l got told that l may have a apartment through community housing and all thou it is fantastic. it has been intrusive to my plans to paint. So the other day, l said to myself "look at it as a holiday at the beach and in a month you are going home". so l did that and now l will show you my first painting. l here you say hooray for that, l know l am saying exactly the same thing. l have done 2 actually but the second one, not happy Jan.

Robert Freeman ( photographer ) Robert Freeman (5 December 1936 – 6 or 7 November 2019) was an English  photographer,  and graphics designer, best known for his work with The  Beatles. Today's  artist Melinda Jane Bordelon  (March 6, 1949 – November 18, 1995) was an American  painter  and  illustrator  whose professional work adorns  magazine  covers, articles, and  advertisements —as well as  album covers ,  book covers , and  video game packaging —produced from the early 1970s through the 1990s. Reg Mombassa:   born in New Zealand in 1951, immigrated to Australia with his family in 1969. Attended the National Art School, Sydney 1969-70. Returned to art school in 1975 and obtained his diploma of painting in 1977. Formed rock band Mental as Anything in 1976 with four other art students. They became a popular band and have released 11 albums and 27 singles, with 20 entering the top forty. They have toured in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, England, Europe, the United States and Asia.His first painting exhibition was held at Watters Gallery, Sydney in 1975. He has had one man shows at Watter’s in 1986, 91, 93, 95, 98, 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2007. 

A survey show of Reg’s artwork spanning the last thirty years or so opened at the S.H. Ervin in January 2007.
