  Today we are introduced to a women artist born  1532 - Cremona, Italy  Died:  November 16, 1625 - Palermo, Sicily, Italy.  Born into the minor nobility, Sofonisba was the oldest of six daughters and one son. While members of the nobility were expected to have knowledge of the arts, it was not conventional for them to pursue the arts professionally.  In a radical move, Amilcare arranged specialized training in painting for Anguissola and her sister Elena. They joined the household of Bernardino Campi as apprentices in 1545. Campi was a young  Mannerist  artist who had met Giulio Romano while working in Mantua; he had gained quick fame for his elegant compositions upon his return to Cremona.  Today the nominated Photographer Ansel Adam, I have the 3 book set in my shelves. The Film,  The Negative, The Print. When I was studying Black and White film and Dark room we had a session On how Ansel got it so right so followed his procedure and it almost was 100% right every time. I used the same products every time had the times right its finding your groove once you have done that you hardly have failures. But unfortunately I am now using digital as I am 67 and cannot stand for hours and dont like the chemicals.  Ansel Adams was an American photographer best known for his iconic images of the American West, including Yosemite National Park.  Ansel Easton Adams was born in on February 20, 1902, in San Francisco, California. His family came to California from New England, having migrated from Ireland in the early 1700s.
