Georgia was a 20th-century American painter and pioneer of American Modernism. Georgia was born on the 15th of November 1887 in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Georgia studied her art at the Institute of Chicago. Alfred Stieglitz gave O'Keeffe her first gallery show in 1916 and then the couple married in 1924.
